Teacher - Small Group

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to deliver the KS1 curriculum to small groups of primary‑aged children with Autism (ASC). This is a rewarding role for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to children's learning and development.

The Role
  • Teach small groups of children working within the KS1 curriculum
  • Adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with Autism
  • Deliver high‑quality phonics teaching using structured and evidence‑based approaches
  • Create a calm, nurturing, and structured learning environment
  • Use a range of strategies to support communication, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SEN professionals, and parents/carers
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and assessments
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Strong experience teaching phonics, ideally within KS1
  • Experience teaching primary‑aged children with Autism or other SEND
  • A flexible, patient, and child‑centred approach
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to inclusive and trauma‑informed practice
