This role involves fulfilling the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document, while making a positive impact on the learning and wellbeing of our students.
Responsibilities
- Promote the progress, wellbeing, and engagement of all students.
- Deliver personalised, high‑quality lessons that meet the learning needs of all pupils.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policy.
- Participate in interventions to raise student achievement and attainment.
- Support and contribute to the professional development of colleagues.
- Collaborate with internal and external agencies to support students learning and development.
- Act as a role model in professional practice, demonstrating high standards of teaching, behaviour management, and safeguarding.
- Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Experience teaching students with SEND desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Dedication to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
- Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship.
