Responsibilities
  • Planning, designing and producing teaching materials and resources which are appropriate to age and ability in consultation with the Head of Department.
  • Managing the classroom and teaching equipment so as to create a positive learning environment which makes effective use of available resources.
  • Facilitating the progress and general well-being of students, providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters.

  • Qualified Teacher Status and sound subject knowledge
  • Ability to motivate students, act as a role model and form good relationships with them
  • Enthusiasm and passion for teaching, inspiring students and setting high standards within the classroom
