Experienced PE teacher - (girls)

Full-Time | Essex | Start Date: ASAP / January 2025

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Female PETeacher to join a successful secondary school in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching, raise attainment, and inspire a genuine love of PE in students across KS3 and KS4.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students of all abilities. You will play an active role in shaping the PE curriculum, supporting departmental development, and ensuring strong progress and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach PE to KS3 and KS4, with consistently strong outcomes
  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons in line with curriculum requirements
  • Use data effectively to monitor progress and implement targeted interventions
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of schemes of work and resources
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and a positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school team
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and professional conduct
