Are you a passionate, qualified English teacher looking for your next exciting challenge? Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and successful secondary academy in Oldham, and we're searching for an enthusiastic Teacher of English to join their team on a full-time temporary basis from January to July 2025.

The Role

As the school's new English specialist, you will:

• Teach English Language and Literature up to GCSE
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:15am-3:00pm
• Bring calm, confident behaviour management that creates a safe, supportive environment
• Adapt lessons to inspire students across a broad range of abilities, backgrounds and cultures
• Encourage a genuine love of reading and literature
• (Bonus) Bring Drama-teaching experience
• Be an ECT, qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or FE lecturer with experience teaching AQA GCSE English to students aged 11-16
