TeacherActive are working closely with a creative and inclusive secondary school in the Birmingham area known for nurturing artistic expression and celebrating individuality.

The school encourages creativity, critical thinking and the development of technical skills across the Arts, providing students with excellent facilities and inspiring teaching.

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Art & Photography to join the school’s vibrant Arts faculty from January.

Responsibilities
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
  • Teach Art & Photography across KS3 and KS4
  • Support GCSE students in developing strong portfolios and practical skills
  • Deliver engaging lessons that promote creativity, experimentation, and self-expression
  • Contribute to extra-curricular projects and exhibitions
  • Work collaboratively within the Arts department
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
