A local government council in Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a Teacher of Chemistry for 35 hours per week. The ideal applicant must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland and should have experience in delivering the curriculum tailored to learners' needs. Applications are welcome from current probationers pending Full Registration with the GTCS in July 2025.

This role involves delivering courses as part of the BGE and/or senior phase curriculum within Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or The Bridge, tailored to meet learners' needs.
Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the PVG scheme. Candidates will need to join or update their PVG scheme before employment begins.
If you have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years, additional police clearance from the relevant authorities will be required.
