Qualifications

  • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and preparation of tax returns.
  • Experience with partnership accounting and partnership tax is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with international tax issues affecting global organizations.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Elite 3e is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying complex financial information.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare LLP and corporate tax computations for review by senior tax managers.
  • Calculate annual partner tax reserves and manage bi-annual tax payments with external advisors.
  • Support compliance with UK and international VAT regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Assist with corporate tax compliance for international offices and intercompany invoicing.
  • Manage HMRC reporting obligations including PAYE settlement agreements and STBV reporting.
  • Handle withholding tax issues, including preparing reclaim forms and obtaining Tax Residence Certificates.
  • Liaise with overseas offices and external accountants regarding statutory reporting and local tax returns.
  • Assist in tax audits, VAT investigations, and ad hoc tax-related projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards (including SRA regulations).

Tax Analyst Permanent (Min 2+ years experience)

Tax Accountant 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), possibility to extend to permanent.
