A leading housing organization in Liverpool is seeking a Systems Accountant to ensure robust and accurate accounting systems. The role involves leading improvements in financial technology and managing relationships with system providers. Ideal candidates will be CCAB qualified, have strong financial systems knowledge, and experience in leading finance projects. As a Systems Accountant you will ensure the Group's accounting and finance systems, and the associated feeder systems, are robust and accurate so that the finance team can always produce timely and reliable financial information and reports.
You would be responsible for identifying improvements to ensure efficient and effective systems are in place, this includes ensuring they are up to date with latest releases and software updates. The person in this role would be expected to take the lead in designing and improving the technology plan for the Finance function and identifying areas of efficiency and improvement.
We would like you to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our finance system providers as you would be the main point of contact for the Group.
