Job summary

A leading UK healthcare charity is looking for a Bank Swim Instructor to provide engaging swimming lessons at their Liverpool Fitness and Wellbeing Gym. The ideal candidate should have a Swim England Level 2 qualification or equivalent, be approachable, and have great communication skills. You'll teach swimmers of all ages and manage both one-to-one lessons and group classes. Working hours are flexible, and the role includes a benefits package that consists of paid holidays, a pension scheme, and gym membership.

As a Bank Swim Instructor at our Liverpool Fitness and Wellbeing Gym, you’ll need to have a Swim England Level 2 or equivalent qualification, together with a good track record of teaching swimmers of all ages and abilities. Experience required or willingness to learn to teach ducklings and adults as well as the Learn to Swim Programs. Must be available for 48 weeks of the year.

As a Bank Swim Instructor, you will:
  • Engage, teach and inspire members of all ages to achieve their swimming goals
  • Make the most out of every opportunity to help people learn and develop
  • Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes
  • Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach
  • Have high expectations of the swimmers and demonstrate good class management.
  • Continue to develop your knowledge
