Salary: £32,434 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week

About this role

We are looking for a Support Worker to join the Snow Hill Court team.

Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation.

We will not accept applications where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used to assist with completing the competency questions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct rapid risk and accommodation assessments with clients moving in to the service
  • Liaise with external agencies and councils to ensure clients are receiving wrap around support
  • Increase move on and throughput in the centre
  • Ensure the environment is safe, healthy, and reflective of our ethos and supports our client’s aims
  • Be outcome focussed, fostering a culture of high performance and continual improvement on your and the team’s successes
