Location: Oswestry & Bridgnorth, Shropshire
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
Salary: £12.21 per hour / £25,466 per annum

About the Roles

We’re recruiting Support Workers to join our welcoming teams in Oswestry and Bridgnorth. Whether you’re new to care or bring experience, you’ll be making a real difference every day.

In Oswestry, you’ll work across two homes just five minutes apart:

  • One home supports three women who enjoy arts and crafts, sensory activities, shopping, and family holidays.
  • The other supports a man and a woman who love music, jigsaws, theatre trips, and meals out. Support needs include epilepsy, diabetes, dysphagia, dementia, and personal care. You’ll be part of calm, encouraging teams promoting independence and wellbeing.

In Bridgnorth, you’ll support four people with diverse needs including autism, epilepsy, and mobility challenges.

  • Activities include swimming, sailing, karaoke, and community outings.
  • You’ll help with daily routines, personal care, and life skills like cooking and DIY. Mobility and travel are essential due to limited public transport.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting people with daily routines and personal care
  • Encouraging independence and life skills development
  • Promoting hobbies, interests, and community engagement
  • Administering medication and responding to health needs
  • Working shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins (no waking nights in Oswestry)

Essential:

Desirable:
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Driving licence (especially for Bridgnorth)
