Job description

We're looking for a part-time Support Worker to join our warm and welcoming team, providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities at our supported living service in Sheffield.

Our service is home to 8 wonderful individuals, each with their own personalities, routines and interests. They are looking for someone who can support them with all areas of daily life, including personal care, medication support, budgeting, bill paying, menu planning and meal preparation, shopping, laundry, attending appointments, and accessing activities and opportunities in their local community. Day-to-day support also includes a significant amount of moving and handling.

In this role, you'll build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support and take the time to understand what matters most to them. You will also work alongside family members, professionals and other agencies to ensure support is truly coordinated, personalised and focused on promoting wellbeing and quality of life.

Experience is welcomed but not essential. What's most important is your enthusiasm, compassion and commitment to making a meaningful difference. If you enjoy a role that is both rewarding and varied, and you're someone who is willing to go the extra mile to support others, we'd love to hear from you.

Creative Support's Development Pathway offers a structured induction and values-led training to help staff grow from entry-level to leadership roles. It empowers career progression through tailored learning aligned with national strategies and the WE CARE framework.

Our service is based in Chapeltown, North Sheffield, with good access to Rotherham and surrounding areas.
