Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Support Worker
We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Support Worker in our Supported Housing Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that's making a real difference in people's lives.
This role is to support vulnerable people experiencing mental ill health issues in our supported accommodation.
You’ll have an allocated caseload of clients who you will support in their own home and out in the community. You’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload and diary whilst lone working.
You should have some experience of supporting vulnerable adults and promoting their independence to help them to achieve personal goals.
You’re great at building relationships – whether that’s working closely with stakeholders, creating strong partnerships, or being a supportive team player. You understand supported housing services and the challenges ahead, and you’re confident using your judgement to make decisions that matter.
You can prioritise effectively, stay calm under pressure, and spot risks before they become problems. Communication is one of your strengths – both written and verbal – and you’re comfortable using technology to work in a modern, flexible environment.
You’ll be part of our Supported Housing Team, led by Alice Murray, Supported Housing Delivery Team Manager. If you’d like to know more about the role, feel free to reach out to Alice at alice.murray@karbonhomes.co.uk 07711494427
