Seeking an experienced and respectful Support Worker in Llanmorlais, Swansea, SA4 3TB.

Role Details
  • Full-time (37.5 hours)
  • Hourly Rate: £14.68; Sleep nights paid at £50 per night
  • Flexible shifts to provide 24‑hour support from 07:00‑22:00 and 22:00‑07:00 (sleep night)
  • Must hold a full, manual UK or EU driving licence from a designated country – required to drive client vehicles

You will join an established team in Llanmorlais, providing support to two young men.

Clients
  • M – 34‑year‑old gentleman with mild learning disability, autism and ADHD; enjoys physical activities, old car restoration and Xbox; requires patience, empathy and gentle encouragement for a healthy diet.
  • P – 46‑year‑old gentleman with Smith‑Magenis Syndrome, diabetes and a hearing impediment; communicates via words, signs and gestures; enjoys karaoke, is sociable and may need solitude when distressed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respectful, responsive care and support to clients with complex emotional responses.
  • Assist with physical activities such as cycling, walking and trampolining.
  • Maintain relationships with family, friends and external partners to support best outcomes.
  • Follow clear support guidance and work as part of a large team.
  • Recognise and manage behaviours of distress without personalising them.
  • Provide intimate personal care respectfully.
  • Drive client vehicles as required, maintaining a UK driving licence.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD and anxiety.
