An educational institution in Newport, UK, is seeking a motivated Support Coach to deliver study skills support sessions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with learners and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English. Responsibilities include planning and managing individual or group sessions to cater to specific learner needs. Joining a diverse and inclusive team is essential to ensure high-quality education and support for all learners.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Support Coach. The successful candidate will provide targeted intervention that gives a more focused wrap‑around service to both learners and the curriculum. This will include a range of learning support strategies by directly managing, and facilitating, study skills support sessions with individuals or groups of learners depending on their need.
The Support Coach will:
Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) if appropriate. Please note that successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the EWC.
