We are currently recruiting a Support Administrator to join a busy NHS hospital team based in Great Yarmouth. This is a fixed‑term role for 9 months, offering £14.00 per hour PAYE.

This role provides essential administrative support to clinical and non‑clinical teams, helping ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of hospital services.

  • Location: Great Yarmouth, NR31
  • Pay rate: £14.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • Start Date: 9th February 2026
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to hospital departments
  • Manage correspondence, records, and electronic data accurately
  • Book appointments, meetings, and update internal systems
  • Support clinical teams with administrative tasks as required
  • Respond to internal and external queries in a professional manner
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with NHS policies, procedures, and GDPR requirements
  • Assist with reception or front‑of‑house cover when required
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based role
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and accurate data entry
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
  • Previous experience working within an NHS or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with NHS administrative or patient systems (training will be provided if required)
