Job description

As one of our Supply Teachers, you will be key in supporting schools in your local area, enabling pupils to achieve their best, whilst having flexible work that suits you. Our competitive rates and network of Bristol schools will ensure you get the right work, and a great wage.

This particular teaching role would see you support a variety of schools in your local area, as you establish yourself as a pillar of your local community. You will have the opportunity to go out on both long-term and day to day assignments, subject to your preference. You'll learn, develop and grow alongside the pupils you work with, as you deliver high quality support to the schools you work with.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol

Position: Supply Teacher (cover capacity)

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for an assigned class, management of class, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils

Start Date: Immediate

Rate of pay : 120 - 165 p/d (as per assignment)

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status

Desirable:

Experience of working in Primary School

Experience of inclusive classroom practice

An understanding of the transition process from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

Previous experience of teaching reading using a range of strategies, including synthetic phonics.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
