About the role

Heart of Supply is recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to support our partner schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. These flexible roles include day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term cover in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms. You'll step into a range of schools, delivering engaging lessons, following pre-set plans, and helping maintain a positive and consistent learning environment in the absence of the regular class teacher.

We're looking for adaptable, confident primary supply teachers who can quickly build rapport with pupils and staff, manage behaviour positively, and bring energy and calm to each day. You'll need to be proactive, reliable, and able to slot into new settings with ease, whether you're teaching phonics in Reception or guiding a Year 6 class through revision.

About the school

At Heart of Supply, we're proud to work with a variety of local schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, from nurturing primary classrooms to dynamic secondary environments, and specialist SEND provisions to inclusive academy trusts. Our partner schools are welcoming, well-resourced, and committed to creating positive spaces for both pupils and staff. Whether you're looking to broaden your experience or find your perfect-fit setting, you'll have the chance to step into a range of roles that suit your strengths, with our support every step of the way.

What you will need
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
  • A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
  • The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
  • Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
  • A minimum of 6 weeks' teaching experience in the UK
What we offer you
  • Competitive weekly PAYE pay
  • Roles tailored to your lifestyle, day-to-day or longer term
  • Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools
  • A friendly, experienced consultant who listens (hi, I'm Jess)
  • Free CPD and ongoing professional development
  • A simple 'Refer a Friend' scheme
  • Up to £375 Welcome Bonus, paid as you hit key milestones
  • A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey

We're fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children's barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.
