Secondary School Teacher, Full-Time | RCT Area
£166.32 per day
Key Stages 3 & 4 (Ages 11–16)

Are you a confident and enthusiastic secondary teacher looking for your next role? A friendly and inclusive secondary school in the RCT area is looking to welcome a committed teacher to their team on a full-time basis. #INDTP

You’ll be working with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting both their academic progress and personal development in a positive classroom environment.

The Role:

As a Secondary Teacher, you’ll be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting lessons where needed
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:

This role would suit someone who:

  • Holds QTS (or is working towards it)
  • Has experience teaching Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4
  • Is confident in the classroom and passionate about education
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Is flexible and happy to travel to schools across the RCT area
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle
Essential Requirements:

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • EWC registration (Teacher category)
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  • Two recent references from education settings
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
