Job Description

Blackfield Associates are currently partnered with an Exciting Biotechnology organisation to support their search for a Supply Planner Administrator to join their site based in Hertfordshire on an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain daily critical stock reports to support material requirements planning and ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Assist in placing purchase orders based on demand forecasts and supply scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure compliance with Procure-to-Pay policies and timely invoice processing.
  • Support Quality in sourcing certificates and documentation for timely material release.
  • Help resolve supply continuity issues and escalate concerns to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to replenish stock at manufacturing sites.
  • Track purchase order due dates and support timely material supply.
  • Assist with price updates and supplier purchase order amendments.
  • Provide general support to the wider supply chain team as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in supply planning, inventory management, or scheduling within biologics or FMCG industries.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities under pressure.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution, data analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Skilled in using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or advanced planning tools).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating across departments including Finance, Manufacturing, Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory.
