As the Lead Specialist for the Maternity Ultrasound Service. You will ensure there is adequate service provision in place at all times and plan the ultrasound service to meet the demands of the maternity department. The post holder will be an experienced Midwife who is high profile, accessible and responsive as a leader.
You will have experience in patient, staff, service and resource responsibility.
As the lead for this department you will ensure the maternity ultrasound team provide an efficient and high quality ultrasound imaging service, whilst caring for patients in a professional manner. Within this role you will undertake a lead role in education, training, governance, policy review and development.
You will be able to make informed decisions within your own area and scope of professional practice and will support the other midwifery sonographers in the provision of a professional ultrasound service.
