Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic development and day-to-day coordination of the EPQ qualification.
  • Inspire, support, and guide students through the full EPQ process, including project planning, research, production logs, and presentations.
  • Support and train colleagues involved in EPQ supervision.
  • Ensure high standards of assessment, moderation, and curriculum compliance.
  • Promote the EPQ across the school and contribute to Post-16 enrichment and academic development.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching within your specialist subject area.
About You
  • A qualified teacher with a strong track record of excellent classroom practice and confidence in teaching students in a variety of techniques and styles.
  • Able to deliver lessons that engage and inspire students.
  • Ideally experienced in EPQ delivery or in teaching skills-based, independent learning frameworks.
  • Passionate about research, critical inquiry, and supporting students to achieve ambitious academic goals.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to lead a small team effectively.
