Full-time | Technical role | Precision engineering focus

If you’re a detail-obsessed mechanic who loves building components to perfection and ensuring every assembly meets exact specification — you will thrive in this role.

About the Role

As a Sub-Assembly Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for building, servicing and maintaining critical Hypercar assemblies — brakes, uprights, hubs, dampers, steering, gearbox ancillaries and other complex components. Your work directly affects reliability, safety and performance.

This is a precision-based, documentation-heavy role where consistency and discipline are everything.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Building and maintaining major sub-assemblies to exact engineering tolerances.
  • Following build sheets, torque settings, measurements and quality standards.
  • Managing component life, usage logs, inspection reports and condition documentation.
  • Working with Reliability, Build Engineering and No1 Mechanics to ensure assemblies meet all criteria.
  • Maintaining a clean, controlled working environment with all tooling calibrated.
  • Reporting anomalies, wear patterns and potential failure modes with accuracy.
  • Supporting trackside assembly changes and urgent repairs when required.
  • Ensuring all components are labelled, stored, tracked and signed off correctly.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong mechanical experience with complex motorsport assemblies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to build assemblies consistently and confidently under time pressure.
  • Technical understanding of materials, tolerances, torque procedures and inspection methods.
  • A methodical, precise and safety-led approach.

Your craftsmanship becomes performance. If that excites you — this is your role.
