Overview

We are working with a respected civil engineering contractor who are seeking a motivated Sub-Agent / Site Engineer to join their growing team in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to play a hands-on role in delivering key groundworks and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Carry out setting out, site surveys, and quality checks.
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors, providing technical guidance and support.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and site documentation.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Sub-Agent in civil engineering or groundworks.
• Strong technical knowledge of setting out and site management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
• CSCS card essential; SMSTS/SSSTS desirable.
