Quokka Education is recruiting on behalf of an excellent, high-achieving secondary school with a warm, welcoming community of staff and students. The school is seeking a compassionate and well organised Student Support Officer.

Contract Details
  • Pay: £12.65 per hour
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
About the Role

This position functions similarly to a school nurse role, supporting students on a daily basis with first aid needs and emotional wellbeing. You will be a key point of contact within the school's pastoral system, ensuring students are cared for in a calm and professional manner.

Essential Requirements
  • A valid First Aid qualification - however, free online First Aid training can be provided in advance of the start date if needed.
  • Confidence working with young people, ideally in a school or similar setting
  • Reliability, calm under pressure, and a supportive, proactive approach
