Overview

Role: Structural Engineer

Location: Leyland

Salary: up to £45,000 depending on experience

Vacancy type: Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing, analysing and detailing structural elements for residential and domestic buildings.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to produce calculations, reports and drawings.
  • Perform structural assessments and inspections of existing buildings and properties.
  • Work with other design teams to ensure structural elements integrate with other disciplines.
  • Evaluate compliance with building regulations, codes of practice and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in site visits and surveys to support project development.
Skill Requirements
  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and structural analysis tools.
  • Solid understanding of UK building codes, standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
