Job description
Overview

UK leading firm of Consulting Engineers supporting the construction civils, structures and environmental sectors seek a qualified Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer to join their structures division. Those from a temporary works / remedial works surveying background are of particular interest for this newly generated role. Most of the scope of surveys will be in the education sector with works directly for the Government / DFE (Department for Education) and as a result, you will conduct surveys in primary and secondary education schools.

Location & Travel

Hybrid role available reporting into their Birmingham and/or Nottinghamshire offices. We seek someone with flexibility and are happy to travel UK wide conducting their surveys.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys in the education sector, with works directly for Government / DFE, surveying primary and secondary schools.
  • Prepare thorough, methodical reports documenting any remedial works required in educational environments.
  • Operate in a hybrid capacity with on-site surveys and office-based analysis, with travel across the UK as needed.
Requirements
  • Qualified Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer.
  • Experience or background in temporary works / remedial works surveying is particularly welcomed.
  • Strong, precise reporting skills and a proactive, thorough approach.
