Are you a talented and collaborative Structural Design Engineer looking to join a friendly and progressive studio working with high-profile private and public-sector clients. You will work closely with senior team members, contributing your technical expertise and strong communication skills to deliver inspirational, responsible designs that enhance communities and leave a positive legacy for future generations.

The Role

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, developing your technical, leadership, and commercial skills as you progress. You will collaborate with architects, technicians, and fellow engineers, supporting the delivery of high-quality structural solutions across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities include
  • Structural engineering design across a variety of building projects
  • Preparing, checking, and presenting drawings and calculations
  • Briefing and supporting Technicians and Graduate Engineers
  • Attending project team and site meetings under the guidance of senior staff
  • Undertaking occasional site visits for surveys and inspections
  • Participating in internal design reviews and technical critiques
  • Contributing to bid writing and fee proposals
  • Supporting on-the-job training and professional development
