Our client is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary property consultancy offering expert services in Architecture, Project Management, Surveying, Engineering, and Energy & Sustainability across the UK. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, they support clients from concept to construction - and beyond.

They are now looking for a Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide variety of projects nationwide and progress your engineering career within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Carry out site inspections and assess existing structures
  • Design new or modified structures, following industry standards and codes
  • Produce structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Work closely with Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical teams to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Attend design reviews, project meetings, and construction sites as needed
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior engineers

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant degree/apprenticeship and hands-on experience
  • Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
