About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and customer‑focused Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at a practice in Bristol. As a key member of the practice, you will play an integral role in delivering outstanding clinical care and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver preventive healthcare, including routine checks and vaccination programmes.
  • Diagnose and treat sick and injured pets, using surgical procedures when required.
  • Provide the very best care for patients and clients, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment for everyone.
  • Work closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues across a mix of consulting and surgical responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with around three years or more in practice.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge combined with great communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Can work full‑time, typically enjoying a four‑day working week with a consistent day off.
Working Pattern

Shifts are nine hours long and include a varied mix of consulting and surgical responsibilities across the week. Each day includes a dedicated hour for admin tasks built directly into the schedule. The weekend rota runs on a 1‑in‑4 pattern.
