A leading service provider in Easthampstead is seeking a Street Van Driver for their street cleansing team. In this role, you will sweep pavements, empty bins, and transport vehicles while ensuring high levels of customer service. The ideal candidate holds a full UK driving licence, is self-motivated, and physically fit. Overview

Job type: Permanent, full-time. Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.15pm with occasional weekend work and overtime. Salary: £24,193.31 per annum plus excellent benefits.

Here at Serco we have an exciting opportunity for a Street Van Driver to join our street cleansing team. You will work with a professional, dedicated, and friendly team of Refuse and Recycling and Street Cleansing staff to keep streets, homes, and businesses clean, safe and tidy, while delivering high levels of customer service to the community.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep pavements and roads
  • Empty litter and dog waste bins
  • Load and transport vehicles
  • Daily inspection and reporting procedure for machinery and vehicles prior to and on completion of usage
  • Ensure cleanliness of machines and vehicles and observe Health and Safety guidelines at all times
