Position – Strategic Business Manager

Kings Heath Secondary School is a maintained school for 11-16 year olds. We have places for 795 pupils increasing to 840 pupils. From September 2024, the school changed designation from a single sex school to a coeducational school.

Kings Heath Secondary School is a maintained 11-16 school with seven forms of entry.

Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint a strong Strategic Business Manager who will be responsible for managing the school's Site Team, Finance Team and Catering contracts. Specific job requirements include:

  • To play a full and active part in the School Leadership Team
  • Have specific responsibility for leading and developing support services
  • Ensure the school makes the best possible use of resources
  • Production of timely and fully costed proposals
  • Five Year budget planning
  • Manage the disciplines of Finance, ICT, Estate Management
  • To manage performance management procedures for support staff
  • Risk management and sustainability
