Overview

Temporary to Permanent role. Based in Slough. £25,900 pa. Urgent requirement. A leading life science tools company and global provider of mission-critical products and services to the life sciences and advanced technology industries. We work side-by-side with customers at every step of the scientific journey to enable breakthroughs in medicine, healthcare, and technology.

Our client is recruiting for a Stores and Logistic Technician at their site in Slough. The role involves working at the counter (front desk) servicing scientists collecting stock items, as well as organising stock within the warehouse. The position may suit someone who has freshly graduated with inventory/stock management experience or someone with stores and counter experience. Some items may require heavy lifting (between 5 and 20 kilos).

The successful candidate will be hands-on, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, be organised, able to prioritise a busy workload, and able to work as part of a small team. Computer literacy with SAP and Microsoft Office is required.
