Job description

Stores Operator | Driver (DAY SHIFT ONLY!)

Location: Corby, Northants – NN17 5DP.

Salary: £13.50 per hour. Pay hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30 am–4:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am–1:30 pm. Immediate start, free parking. Early finish on Friday – overtime after 39 hours paid at 1½.

Role

• Maintain stock levels and replenish as and when required
• Load and unload stock when necessary
• Pack and dispatch customer orders when required
• Operate the forklift – counterbalance & Bendi
• Always adhere to all health and safety practices
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Complete and return works orders/dispatch paperwork to Stores Team Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned by the STM
• Assist when required with collecting products from customers and delivering parts to company field engineers

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a store/warehouse environment
• Comfortable handling materials and working with lifting
• Able to follow instructions and work to specification sheets
• Hold in‑date and valid counterbalance forklift & Bendi licences
• Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Full clean driving licence (for delivery duties)
