Job description
Overview

We have a new opportunity for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join us at SNG. This is a full time permanent role covering our Bristol and Wiltshire localities with a blend of office, surveying and home working. The starting salary is £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive stock condition surveys, RdSAP energy data surveys and Housing Health and Safety Rating Systems (HHRSS) across Sovereign Network Groups (SNG) stock portfolio.
  • Use mobile technology to gather and validate the accuracy of stock and component related data and support the business in processing this proactively.
  • Work with the survey management and monitoring team to ensure the data is interpreted accurately and supports the business investment needs.
  • Contribute to delivering the right outcomes to customers in a safe and timely manner.
What we're looking for
  • Experience carrying out detailed stock condition surveys to occupied and empty properties and communal areas.
  • Experience undertaking RdSAP assessments, HHSRS assessments and the Decent Homes Standard.
  • Experience with asset management IT database systems and electronic data capture including using mobile technology.
  • Evidence of excellent customer service achievements in a complex delivery environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; strong people skills to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and team-driven work.
  • An HND/HNC Building or A Level equivalent is an advantage but not essential.
