Overview

Are you a fully ACA qualified Statutory Accounts Senior Manager / Associate Director or a Business Services Senior Manager, with at least 5 years PQE, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial boutique Accountancy practice firm based in an easily accessible location in the West End (Zone 1 Central London)? Are you looking to work for a niche firm that is one of the main firms in the world that specialises in working with some of the highest profile HNWI’s from the Music, Media, Sport, Entertainment, Fashion, comedy, Film, TV Production & Entertainment sectors? Are you looking for a role which is review based and very varied? If so, this well established accountancy practice that is part of a large international group, is looking to recruit a fully ACA Qualified Statutory Accounts Senior Manager, Business Services Senior Manager or Accounts Associate Director (with at least 5 years PQE) due to impressive growth over the last few years.

Your role will be varied and will include managing a small business services team, reviewing all Statutory Accounts prepared under FRS 102, Management Accounts, VAT returns and Corporation Tax returns that are prepared by the team, as well as offering clients advise and get involved with one off advisory based projects. You will assist the Partners with their work and help take work off the Partners when they are busy. You will also be involved with royalty examinations and similar specialist assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to full Director level in a short space of time and potentially Partner level in the future. The firm offer hybrid working and you will work 4 days in the office and 1 day from home as well as flexible working hours.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a small business services team and review Statutory Accounts prepared under FRS 102, Management Accounts, VAT returns and Corporation Tax returns.
  • Provide clients with advisory support and participate in one-off advisory projects.
  • Assist Partners by taking on workload when they are busy and be involved in royalty examinations and similar specialist assignments.
  • Support training and development; contribute to growth opportunities within the role and team.
Qualifications
  • Fully ACA Qualified Statutory Accounts Senior Manager, Business Services Senior Manager or Associate Director with at least 5 years PQE.
  • Strong financial reporting experience with knowledge of FRS 102; IFRS experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with UK practice firms, statutory accounts and financial reporting; familiarity with music, media and entertainment clients is desirable but not required.
