A prominent healthcare trust in Chester is seeking two temporary Starting Well Nurses on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role involves delivering the Healthy Child Programme to children and families, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must be qualified Registered General Nurses with excellent knowledge of the programme and a commitment to an integrated approach. The position offers comprehensive training and support as well as opportunities for supervision and professional development.
We will appoint two temporary Starting Well Nurses on a 12‑month fixed term contract across Ellesmere Port, Chester and the Rural District.
The role focuses on children and families across the 5–11 and 11–19 age ranges and involves delivering the Healthy Child Programme.
You will support service leads with service improvement and the delivery of interventions to support the health, wellbeing and development of children and their families across Cheshire West and Chester.
You will benefit from a full induction and preceptorship programme, regular clinical and safeguarding supervision, and access to relevant internal and external training and development opportunities.
Excellent knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme and a commitment to multi‑agency, collaborative and integrated team working.
Comprehensive training and support will be provided, including a full induction and preceptorship programme where appropriate.
