Staff Nurse – Spinal

London: The Princess Grace Hospital
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday – Sunday (flexibility to work long days, nights & weekends)
Permanent contract:
Salary: competitive dependent on experience plus 9% shift allowance

We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Inpatients Spinal Team at the Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. Working alongside supportive colleagues and Specialist Consultants, you will benefit from training on the most up to date pioneering equipment and treatments, helping you to become more of an expert in your field.

Responsibilities

As the Staff Nurse, working within our Spinal ward you will plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care whilst working within a multidisciplinary team, supervising and directing junior staff and also temporary staff. You’ll demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions and contribute to the setting of clinical standards, policy and procedures and research-based care and other practice development initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • NMC Registered
  • Experience/Qualification in specialty – Spinal
  • Phlebotomy training desirable
  • Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures (Code of conduct)
  • Basic life support
