Qualifications

Job description

As a Staff Nurse in our Orthopaedics unit you will be able to develop your existing experience while also having the opportunity to deal with a variety of different cases not usually seen on an Orthopaedic ward.

As the Staff Nurse within the Orthopaedics department you will be required to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care to patients within a safe, caring and comfortable environment. You will work within the team, supervising and directing junior staff.

Rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC, the London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City, Canary Wharf and Kent.

With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse Level 1
  • NMC Registration and PREP requirements

Job Details

London: The London Bridge Hospital

  • Full time: 37.5 hours per week
  • Shift times: Monday - Sunday (flexibility required to work long days, nights and Weekends)
  • Permanent contract
  • Salary: Competitive (DOE) plus 9% shift allowance
