Job description

This is an opportunity to join our Neonatal Unit team at James Cook University hospital. We are a regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 35 Cots, consisting of 15 ITU/HDU cots and 20 special care cots.

To be an active member of the multidisciplinary team by using professional judgement and assuming responsibility and accountability for assessing, implementing and evaluating clinical care for patients to meet their needs in a safe caring environment that promotes dignity, privacy and respect.

The post holder will be expected to develop knowledge and skills within the speciality of neonatology and will assist in the management and organization of nursing work in the NICU within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

We support the Making Every Contact Count approach to behaviour change in the promotion of health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.

Skills
