Overview

Job summary: This is an opportunity for an experienced Nurse (RMN or RNLD) to work in a modern, purpose-built rehabilitation and recovery service for males suffering from a primary diagnosis of mental illness. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users, and supporting their journey towards more independent living.

Main duties of the job: As a qualified Nurse (RMN or RNLD), you will ensure males suffering from a primary diagnosis of mental illness receive the care and support they need, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing high-quality nursing care, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, and mentoring and supporting team members.

Where you will be working

Location: Charles Street, Salford, Manchester, M6 7DU. Braeburn House is a modern, purpose-built rehabilitation and recovery service for males with a primary diagnosis of mental illness who have progressed in their recovery but still require further support and intensive interventions. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team under the Care Programme Approach (CPA) in a community-based setting within Salford, Greater Manchester.
