Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us at Atherleigh Park on the Westleigh female acute ward. Atherleigh Park is a modern, purpose‑built hospital with free parking for all staff and is situated across from a popular retail park. The campus includes an onsite gym, a café, a therapy suite, and five wards – Female acute, Male acute, PICU, and Older adults.

Responsibilities
  • Assess service users and deliver collaborative, personalised interventions that are service‑user, carer and quality focused.
  • Deliver high‑level, evidence‑based care within a multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care within the wider team.
  • Administer medication management, risk management and incident management.
  • Coordinate shifts, supervise junior staff and mentor nursing students.
  • Attend MDT meetings, tribunals and manager hearings.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience.
  • Experience in care planning, risk management, shift coordination, medication management, supervising staff, mentoring, incident management, and attendance at MDT/tribunals.
Additional Information

All positions within the Trust are subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks. You are required to enrol in the DBS Update Service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout your employment with GMMH.
