Overview
We\'re seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Manager to lead our client\'s service & maintenance division. You\'ll manage client relationships, oversee compliance with LPC rules (TB203 & GN12), schedule and support engineers, and drive new business opportunities. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead teams and subcontractors while ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and oversee service & maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with LPC rules (TB203 & GN12) and applicable standards.
- Schedule and support engineers; monitor engineer skill sets and provide guidance and training where needed.
- Lead teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality service while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and direction with the execution of tasks and business processes to the internal business support team.
- Ensure internal processes (quoting, verification of engineer report sheets) comply with standards and provide clients with required compliance information.
- External duties include ensuring maintenance works meet standard requirements and completing associated paperwork; participate in external audits with BRE.
- Knowledge or understanding of LPS1048 Standard/TB203 Rules is advantageous for daily operations.
- Electrical knowledge is a bonus.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years\' experience in the Sprinkler Fire Protection industry, supervising or managing Service & Maintenance works.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to provide commercially cost-effective solutions.
- Proven ability to manage a service engineer team and identify training needs.
- Ability to lead and coordinate internal and external teams, with emphasis on safety and quality.

- £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience; includes potential for higher based on technical ability and demonstrated growth).
