Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Sprinkler Maintenance Engineer to join our client's growing team. In this role, you'll carry out inspection, servicing, and repair of fire sprinkler systems across a wide range of sites. You'll ensure all systems meet the highest safety, compliance, and performance standards while providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of sprinkler systems in line with BS EN 12845 and other applicable regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across wet and dry pipe systems, deluge systems, pre-action systems, and foam suppression systems.
  • Perform system testing, flow checks, and pressure tests to maintain peak performance.
  • Produce clear service reports with recommendations for remedial work.
  • Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and undertake breakdown repairs when required.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Sprinkler Maintenance Engineer or similar within the fire protection industry.
  • Strong understanding of fire suppression systems and components.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 25, BS EN 12845, and other fire safety standards.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve system faults effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications in fire protection, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • CSCS card, IPAF, or PASMA certifications (preferred but not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
