Overview

Sprinkler Design Engineer – Fully Remote

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Remote (UK-wide)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed sprinkler system designs in line with industry standards (BS EN12845, NFPA, LPC Rules).
  • Prepare accurate hydraulic calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Provide design support throughout project delivery, from concept to completion.
  • Ensure all sprinkler designs comply with relevant fire safety regulations and company quality standards.
  • Contribute to multiple projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Sprinkler Design Engineer within the fire protection industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems and sprinkler system standards.
  • Proficiency in design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Ability to complete hydraulic calculations and prepare design drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work remotely.
  • Knowledge of LPCB, BS EN12845, and NFPA standards is highly desirable.
