Job description

The King's School, Worcester is seeking to appoint an inspirational Sports Coach or PE Teacher, ideally with a Netball specialism. Applicants should be able to deliver Netball to a high standard and have the ability to offer another sport, ideally Athletics, Cricket or Hockey, also to a high standard. Responsibilities

As part of our dedicated PE Department team, the successful candidate will deliver engaging coaching sessions, sharing their passion for the sports and motivating pupils of all abilities to achieve at high levels.

Qualifications
  • Netball coaching or teaching qualification
  • The ability to deliver Athletics, Hockey or Cricket
  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of player development
  • Ability to communicate effectively and with professionalism with staff, pupils, parents, and other stakeholders at all times
  • History of working with high level performers would be beneficial.
Working pattern and contract

In the region of 16 hours per week, or 0.2 to 0.5 of a part‑time teaching role, comprised of Games afternoons and including Saturdays. Fixed term commencing January 2026 and running until the end of the Summer term 2026, with the possibility of extending into the 2026/27 academic year for the right candidate.
