Overview

You will join on a full time, 1-year fixed term contract for 34 weeks per year from January 2026.

What You'll Do

As a Sports Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of school life—supporting in the classroom, on the sports field, and in the boarding house. Your days will be filled with (see JD for full description):

  • Leading and assisting in sports like hockey, netball, football, swimming, and cricket
  • Supporting teachers in PE lessons and classroom activities
  • Supervising and engaging with children during breaktimes, lunches, and evening activities
  • Helping with boarding duties, weekend trips, and after-school care

  • A team player with a can-do attitude and a love for working with children
  • Someone who\'s organised, enthusiastic, and ready to dive into school life
  • Knowledge of prep school sports is a big plus!
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4-9 or equivalent)
