What We Are Looking For In Emerging Talent
  • Emerging crew and artists based around the UK.
  • Software knowledge - we use Maya, Unreal Engine, Resolve, Avid, Premiere, Nuke, Houdini, AfterFX, Substance Painter, Toon Boom, Photoshop, Kitsu (similar to FTrack or ShotGrid), Google Suite, Monday.com, Bamboo HR and more!
  • Scripting knowledge - Python, C++, Mel
  • Artistic skill - illustration, design
  • Up to 1 year’s experience in a related field.
  • Your previous projects and production experience. If any of your projects were independent or student projects, please describe your contribution to these.

OUR DEPARTMENTS

CG Animation, 2D Animation, Rigging, Background Art, Concept Art, CG Modelling, Texture, Look Dev, Layout, Animation, Lighting and FX, Production roles, Edit, Software Development and Studio Operations.

LOCATION

Remote, hybrid or in-person at our studio in Stirling.

HOURS

Our standard studio hours are 7 working hours a day (usually 10am to 6pm), Monday to Friday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours on an individual basis where this is possible in the production pipeline.

STUDIO CLOSURES

Each year, Wild Child Animation is closed 1-2 days at Easter, 10 days for the last week in the Summer months and for 6-10 days over the December festive period. These days are full studio closures so will not be invoice-able for freelancers.
