A regional healthcare provider in Lancashire is seeking a full-time Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry to provide medical input in inpatient wards. Candidates must have at least 4 years of psychiatric experience and be registered with the GMC. This position offers 40 hours per week and includes participation in a supportive SAS Development Programme.
The main duty of this post is to provide medical input to the General Adult wards, which will include direct care as well as advice/consultancy for other members of the team. You will be supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist.

We are excited to advertise this full time (10 PA) Specialty Doctor post in General Adult Psychiatry to work on our Inpatient wards at The Harbour, Blackpool.
The post is full time 10PA (40 hours) per week and substantive.
Please note – as this is an inpatient role, it is an essential criterion to be section 12 approved or be eligible for section 12 approval within 3 months of commencement (to be eligible for section 12 approval, the North of England approvals panel will require you to evidence 4 years experience in psychiatry, including 12 months UK experience and attending a section 12 induction course).
To be eligible to apply for this post, you must possess at least 4 years experience in psychiatry and be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.
